Here at TS Occasions we strive to make your occasion as stress-free as possible. To ensure we have an agreement from the time of enquiry to the confirmation of a booking and the occasion itself, we welcome you to read our privacy policy, including our complaints procedure below.
A copy of our privacy policy including a signed agreement of our Terms and Conditions will be provided at the point of booking.
Section 1
Confidentiality and Privacy statement including GDPR Law
This statement outlines how TS Occasions will use your personal data and information in accordance with our services and in line with government guidance.
Type of information we may collect:
- Name
- Age
- Contact details including telephone number, home address and email
- Location of the event
- Bank details (to process a deposit or purchase of personalised items)
- Photos of the set up – not including person(s) unless consented to do so
How we collect this information and why:
- Personal details including the above will be captured during the initial booking stages to establish what service you require and how much this will cost. It is important that we understand your requirements to ensure we are the right service for you and if not, then to signpost you to other local suppliers.
- We may use your personal data to invite you to newsletters and offers. As part of the GDPR Law it is your right to remove your personal details from our service at any time. By doing so we ask that you email us at info@ts-occasions.co.uk to submit your request. Your personal details will be secured on password protected devices for no longer than the HMCRC requirement of 7 years and may be destroyed before this time when necessary. Your details will be destroyed securely in line with legal requirements.
Who we share this information with:
- In circumstances where you give your consent, we may take photos of the setup which may be used on either or all of the following; Social Media platforms and or Website, leaflets or materials for TS Occasions and/or external agencies, newsletters and videos. If you would not like your occasion to be photographed and featured on either of the above, please ensure you state this within your initial enquiry. If you are happy for us to take set up photos, TS Occasions and staff will do their best to protect your personal data including, where you live, photos of loved ones and any personal items or information which would make you recognisable.
Your Data Protection rights:
- Be informed about how your data is being used (see above)
- Access to personal data; It is your right to ask for copies of your personal data
- Have incorrect data updated; you have the right to question which information we hold of you and therefore inform us if it is incorrect and needs updating
- Have data stopped, restricted or erased; You have the right to withdraw your personal information from our service in certain circumstances
- Data portability (your data shared with other organisations); You have the right to ask that we share your data with yourself and other organisations in certain circumstances.
Section 2
Complaints
Here at TS Occasions we do our best to ensure any dissatisfaction is dealt with accordingly and suitably ahead of your occasion, however in some circumstances we may need to:
- replace items like for like to the best of our ability if one of our items are not working on the day which may be broken / deemed unfit for purpose
- touch up any scratches / low level damage on the day dependant on unforeseen in-transit damage
- request we move our items, especially electrical items, indoors and free from torrential rain and weather which could potentially damage our items
- charge you for any item(s) which have been damaged, lost or stolen and therefore requiring to be replaced / or remade (T&C's agreement see separate)
- cancel your booking request if a deposit has not been paid within the agreed amount of time
- cancel your booking following unsafe weather conditions, which will impact the safety of transporting our items to and from the occasion of your choice. We aim to give plenty of notice as far ahead as possible to cause minimal disruption to your occasion.

In the event of not being able to satisfy your complaint we may contact our Public Liability Insurance Firm to gain guidance, which may also obtain legal advice.
